Well, our OG avocado oil, Healthy Oil, was getting a little lonely up there on shelves, wasn’t it? With eight million avocados going to waste every week, there’s so much food waste we can barely keep up. The solution? Using ‘ugly’ avocado oil to create new products, making circularity a priority, bringing more great food to more people. Meet Soilmates Avocado Mayo.

Well, it’s a bit of a trailblazer. It’s mayonnaise, stirred with Soilmates’ avocado oil – circular cooking oil, pressed from ugly avos only. With every bottle of Soilmates Avocado Mayo you’ll be saving four ugly avocados from going to waste. The first of its kind on shelves in the Netherlands, Europe… heck, possibly even the world!
SO WHAT DOES SOILMATES AVOCADO MAYO TASTE LIKE?
The short answer is ‘mayonnaise’. It tastes like your favourite spread: slightly tangy, super creamy. It’s full of that classic mayo flavour. It might be powered by ugly avos… but you won’t taste them at all.
WHAT IS SOILMATES AVOCADO MAYO MADE FROM?
All the classics plus a circular addition: water, vinegar, free-range eggs and oil (a combination of Healthy Oil and rapeseed), a touch of mustard and a sprinkling of salt. Sugar free, carb free. Full of goodness.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH SOILMATES AVOCADO MAYO?
Yes, this seems a silly question, but we needed a way of letting you know all the wonderfully fun ways Soilmates Avocado Mayo can slot into your life. Add a little sriracha for a dip with a kick. Make a chicken marinade by mixing with OJ for the juiciest roast bird around. Stir in some lemon juice, garlic powder, avocado oil, parmesan and black pepper for a dreamy salad dressing. We wouldn’t blame you for spooning it straight into your mouth. It’s the perfect excuse to have a little fun with your food.
